Curator’s Message

The graduates’ exhibition is an excellent opportunity to examine subjects from the graduates’ world here and now. This year, too, the students in the Visual Communication Department have summarized their 4 years of studies in projects that ask questions – about the place they are in, about social issues, about themselves – and find solutions to these questions through the design tools they have acquired during their studies.

The wide variety of themes in this exhibition, which range from the personal to the collective, provide an intriguing look at the position of contemporary visual communication.  Many of the projects touch on the fascinating blending that exists today of the various media, while all of them deal with the dialogue between the graphic product (interface, book, ebook, magazine, app, website, introduction, etc.) and the target consumer audience.

I wish our guests an interesting visit and the students much success,

Golan Gafni
