讛诪拽讚砖 讛诪讬讝讜讙谞讬 | The Sanctifying Misogyny
A work that seeks to present the oppression, besmearing, and diminishing of women in the Parshat Ishah Sotah [Wayward Wife Chapter of the Bible]. Using stained glass windows of the type that sometimes adorn synagogues, I will present the harsh and humiliating way that the woman is treated during the ceremony, and all from the point of view of a former religious woman who is intimately familiar with the issue and wants to protest it.
