A Day of Civil Mourning
A series of objects based on five mourning rituals, situated on the spectrum between the personal and the collective. The project consists of a series of design actions on symbols in Israeli mourning culture and interprets them in the context of recent times. The project addresses five rituals: a flower wreath, a memorial candle, a Yizkor pin, a stone plate, and wine for the Shiva.
